Randy Gene Moss

Randy Gene Moss was born on the 13th of February in 1977. He is an American football player. He was an American footballer who played for 14 seasons within the National Football League (NFL), including with the Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans. Alongside Jerry Rice, he is widely regarded as being the greatest wide receiver of all time. Moss holds the NFL single year touchdown record (23 in 2007) and also the first NFL single season touchdown record (17 in 1998). He is second in the NFL all-time regular season touchdown list with 156. Moss was famous for his prowess in securing contestable catches, and the term "mossed" has been incorporated into football's lexicon. After his career in football and broadcasting, he began working as a studio analyst with ESPN for the Sunday NFL Countdown program and Monday Night Countdown. Moss was born in Rand, West Virginia. He was a student at DuPont High School. It was one of two schools which later merged into Riverside High School. There the student excelled at football, basketball tracks, and many other sports. Randy was also on the school's debate team. On the field of football, Moss led the DuPont Panthers to state championships in back-to-back years in 1993 and 1992. The position he excelled at was wide receiver. But Moss also played free safety in punted kickoffs, as well as was the team's punter as well as kicker. He received the Kennedy Award in 1994 as West Virginia's Football Player of Year. Parade magazine named him to their All-American high-school football teams in 1995. In 2009 they named him as one of the top 50 high-school football players of all-time.
