Abigale Le Miller bio

Abigale Lee Miller (born on 21 September 1965) is a famous American choreographer teacher, dance instructor, and reality TV personality. Abby Lee Dance Company is her own creation that was on for eight seasons of Dance Moms. On June 27, 2016, Miller pleaded guilty to criminal bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison, and released on the 27th of March, 2018. In April 2018 she was diagnosed with lymphoma that is a type of cancer that makes it impossible to walk. The wheelchair she uses now is used to move around. Miller was raised in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. She was a dancer and studied under her mother at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller aged 14 at the time, was given choreography and instruction of one of her mother's dance teams. Miller eventually assumed control of the studio in the year 1995 and named it Reign Dance Productions. Miller was accredited by Dance Masters of America in 1986. She was also made a part of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 in February 2012. However her membership was terminated by DMA in February 2012, after the DMA said that Miller's reality television show Dance Moms was "a complete mistake in the representation of dance teachers and students and was detrimental to the profession of dance."
