Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16 1987 is an American comedian and actress. She was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 to 2012. Since then , she has been a part of the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter and co-star of comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was born in New York City as the oldest of her two children. She is the child of Paula Niedert, a talent manager, as well as Chris Elliott (actor/comedian). Her father was Bob Elliott, a radio comedian. Their younger sister actress Bridey Elliott was raised in Wilton. She attended high school in Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut, where she performed in school plays as well as musicals. After having graduated from Immaculate High School in 2005 she was accepted into Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but was unable to attend her first semester .In 2010, Elliott dated her fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. The couple split in September 2011. Elliott married television writer Bill Kennedy on September 3 (September 3, 2016). Edith Pepper Kennedy is their daughter. Elliott has studied comedy at The Groundlings, and then began performing and training for various sketch comedy shows in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
