Adar Gandelsman
Adar Gandelsman is an Israeli model from Israel. She was the first runner-up at Miss Israel 2017, receiving the title of Miss Universe Israel, and competed at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar took part in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, however, she didn't finish. Gandelsman snapped a selfie during the pageant with Miss Universe Iraq Sarah Idan. Idan and her children fled Iraq in December of 2017. They were shocked when she took a picture of Miss Israel with Miss Israel. Miss Israel served as Miss Universe Iraq at the time. Gandelsman hails from Ashkelon and was born in Israel to Ashkenazi Jewish parents. [1][2] Adar (her initial name) is Hebrew for Hebrew calendar month.
